Spent grain is the combination of oats, barley, and rye that become a natural and nutritious by-product of the beer brewing process. The grain is dispelled before fermentation occurs, thus contains no alcohol. The grain is high in fiber and protein, supportive to the dog’s digestive system.
Coconut flour is gluten free and hypoallergenic. It is high in fiber, but low in sugar and carbohydrates. It is also high in protein and healthy fats! All of this combined means coconut flour is not only safe and healthy for dogs, but can help regulate blood sugar levels which is especially beneficial for dogs with high cholesterol or diabetic dogs. This ingredient can be found in our PB and Sweet Potato treats.
Pumpkin is nutritious for overall health and is rich in vitamins A, C, E, potassium, and iron! It’s known to help soothe the digestive system and as a source of soluble fiber can aid in healthy bowl movements for you pup!
Our peanut butter is homemade using only unsalted peanuts blended with coconut oil for smoothness. It does not contain Xylitol, a sugar-substitute found in some brands of peanut butter, that is toxic to dogs in even the smallest amounts. Without this, PB is high in protein and healthy fats.
Cinnamon in the right quantity can be beneficial for dogs. When combined with other dog-safe ingredients, cinnamon has an array of health benefits. It is known to aid in the regulation of blood sugar in dogs and help them maintain a healthy weight. It’s anti-inflammatory properties can also reduce joint pain and aid in arthritis relief.
Bananas are a veterinarian recommended healthy fruit snack for dogs. They are high in fiber, aiding in digestion, as well as magnesium that is proven to promote bone growth and aid in vitamin absorption.
Excellent source of Beta-Carotene, an antioxidant that not only prevents cancer and is a fighting agent against heart disease, your pup can also convert it directly into Vitamin A! Other essential nutrients found in Sweet Potatoes such as C, B6, potassium and calcium-all rich dietary sources that promote healthy skin, eyes, nerves, and muscles in dogs.
